Dr. Melissa Pielech received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2019. She completed her clinical residency at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University’s Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. Prior to doctoral work, she earned a master’s in clinical mental health counseling and art therapy from Lesley University. As a clinical researcher and pediatric psychologist., Dr. Pielech is committed to improving the lives of youth who use substances and experience chronic or acute pain by increasing access to evidence-based interventions in integrated care settings. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with parents, families, and adolescents who struggle with substance use in the context of complex medical conditions.
